Becoming 2016 | August 5th-6th

Mark your Calendar for Becoming 2016.

Hosted once again in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC on Friday and Saturday, August 5th-6th, 2016.

We are so excited to invite you to join us for the fifth annual Becoming Conference.

Becoming 2016 is a weekend designed to encourage and inspire women to live intentionally by becoming more creative, purposeful, and frugal. As women, many of us desire to be more intentional with our time and financial resources; more intentional with our family and homes, but aren’t sure how to make that happen.

As we gather from all walks of life, we will tackle some of those day to day issues that typically seem mundane and give you a sense of magic. Our desire is that you will leave, not only refreshed, but encouraged, empowered, and motivated with the practical and tangible ideas you have received.

From personal finance, meal planning, hospitality, fashion, home decor, trash to treasure, and more, Becoming 2015 will revolutionize the way we think, not just about our finances, but our homes.

If it comes to creating, repurposing or being intentional with our money, time and energy, we want to cover it.

As we are bring together a number of talented bloggers, all who are passionate in their areas of expertise, they will instruct and inspire you on a number of topics.

With both large groups and smaller, interactive workshops, we want to ensure that you leave empowered with tools to enrich your life.

Hosted once again in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC on Friday and Saturday, August 5th-6th, 2016.

We will be adding the workshops and session descriptions soon.

Since managing money wisely is so important to both of us, we have kept the cost of the conference as low as you will find anywhere.

The cost of the conference averages anywhere from only $51 – $203 per person, but this is based on reserving a room with a friend at a double occupancy rate. This price varies depending on your choice of room accommodations (see the price breakdown per room.)

If you register before March 1st, the conference price is only $40.  After March 1st, the price bumps up to $55.

This includes everything, except for the optional Hands on, Pre-conference workshops.

Included in this price is your conference fee, dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, as well as your hotel for Friday evening – not to mention all the additional goodies we have in store from our sponsors.

If you would prefer to stay off campus, join us at a cost of $63, which includes the Friday and Saturday conference sessions, Saturday lunch and gift bags. Note that dinner on Friday is not included in this price.

Please see the Registration Details and break down of conference prices before you call to register.

The mountains of NC are calling you. Come be a part of something new, unique and exciting. Join a room full of women whose desire is to Become More.

Turn off the TV, grab some girlfriends, and escape on a breathtaking getaway to Asheville’s Blue Ridge Mountains.

We are so excited to meet you, and enjoy this weekend with you.

Becoming More,

Could you please add more specific info on the dates and times?
We are trying to coordinate travel and need to know if we can leave Friday morning or Thursday. What time does it begin and end each day?
Does the fee include one night or two accommodations?
    Thank you.

Hi Sara – Sorry about that. The info was on the registration page, but not highlighted. The conference begins with dinner at 5:00 on Friday night and ends on Saturday at 6:00. WE will have optional hands on workshops that begin at noon on Friday for additional cost. The fee includes one night.

I wish I didn’t live all the way across the country! I saw a friend share this on Facebook, and clicked her link. I love the concept!

I am involved in a church women’s organization in Arizona. Is your motto “Becoming…” something that is trademarked? I love the concept, and would love to use it at a Women’s Conference here, but I would probably tweak it to be specific to our classes.

Thanks for the info. I wish I could attend!

Wish you were closer too since it’s a wonderful weekend. Obviously, we would love to help your church in anyway, but it would be great i, like you said, you could think through something more specific to your church. I bet you have an amazing women’s team that could brainstorm something new to you.

We went through months of growing pains and process in trying to come up with a concept like this that no one else was doing, making it very specific to our conference, and our Becoming (with our varying topics)….is specific to us, but of course, feel free to have a jump start off of what we are doing. I know your ladies will be blessed by that.
