Becoming 2015 Agenda

With three main focuses for the weekend, Becoming Creative, Purposeful, and Frugal, we have broken these into three tracks. You can mix and match at will, choosing what you desire to learn about the most.

Each speaker is an expert in their field, and eager to share their passion with you. Don’t worry, some of the topics will be repeated, ensuring you can hit on your top choices.

Remember, you do not sign up for these.

Becoming Frugal

We all need to save more money, and there are lots of ways to do it.  You can be a local coupon queen or just choose to save money where you can, so you can spend on what you want.

We will cover beginning and advanced ways to save, including creative ways to put money aside, budgeting, meal planning and freezer cooking.

Becoming Purposeful

Many of us fly through each day with lists to get done that we never complete.  It’s time to live with intention and purpose.  Remember what you started all this for, and refocus on creating organization and intention in a very chaotic world.

Whether you are single or have a house full, understanding your long term vision is key.  Whether you desire more encouragement on mothering, living on purpose or organization, these days seem long, yet the years are short, so be blessed by the wisdom of those who have maneuvered these waters for decades.

Becoming Creative

HGTV has revolutionized the way many of us think about decorating, but how can we bring that creativity to our own homes?  Be inspired and encouraged with the notion that “It doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.”

From experts in DIY and home decor, you will learn how to cast a vision for your own home and find inspiration everywhere. The best part is that all this can be done with just pennies on the dollar.

    Hi Jen,
I’d like to bring my 2 daughters 1 20yrs old & 1 15yrs old… Would the price still be just $100-? Or is it per person ?
    Thanks,
    Rene’

Renee – that is the price per person since it covers the hotel, all meals etc. It should come to less than that since you would share a room. Hope you can come. Sorry I didn’t see this sooner.

Do we have to chose a speaker for the time slots or do we get to hear them all?

I really would love to come to the conference but that is our first week of school. I was wondering if I would be able to register and just come late on Friday. I am in Atlanta and won’t be able to make it until about 8. What is your advice?

Oh yes, come late. We have some just coming for Saturday. The first “Real” session doesn’t begin until 6:30, so you will just miss some of the opening. We’d love to have you.

The specific agenda will not be published for another month, but registration begins at 2:00 on Friday (noon if you are taking an optional preconference workshop) and ends at 6:00 on Sat.
