Hands On Workshops

Some folks are just hands on learners… so this year we will bring back the highly popular and more intimate in size, hands on workshops!  You can put the teaching into action and refinish furniture, decorate cakes and even learn to be more frugal with a full coupon workshop.

These are ADDITIONAL PRE-CONFERENCE workshops. Most of the workshops have an additional cost for supplies that are not included in the main conference price.   These sessions do fill quickly.

At this time we are still finalizing details for our hands on workshop. Look forward to cake decorating, making biscuits, crafting and a calligraphy class.

I just signed up for the furniture painting class and I meant to sign up for the crafting class. Is there a way to correct this?

Please leave me registered for both classes. One of the women in our group is going to take the furniture class. Thanks!

Ok, I will. Just let us know the name change and we can do that. The craft class is almost sold out, so good thing you snagged it. :)

So I’ve read the questions and replies. Still need some clarification. Has the registration started already for the pre conference workshops? Why does it say registration for all workshops start may 1. But then it Also mentions at the end of may. So if I’m not doing the pre conference workshops is there any workshops I need to sign up for?

There was a typo on the site and we have changed it. IF you are not signing up for the optional hands on workshops, then no, you don’t need to sign up for anything.

It is past 9 am and I can’t find where to register for the workshops! I called the number on this website and the lady said she “knew nothing about them!” Very frustrating! Thanks!

You are on the right page. You need to click on the big box that says ATTEND on the right side.

This is our first year attending and we are so excited. We were wondering if you can attend more than one of the pre-conference workshops or do they overlap each other? We see some have different start times, but weren’t sure how long they would last. Thanks so much!

Unfortunately, they do overlap. Since they are so concentrated, we have budgeted 2- 3 hours for each one, but it allows you the time to really dig in on your project or session.

    Hello,
I would like to know how to preregister for workshops. When I reserved our room for the conference on August 8-9, I was told I would need to contact you to register for the classes. I paid in full for lodging and understood I could preregister. There are four of us and we all want to register for the trash to treasure workshop.
    Thank you,
    Charlotte La Fratta

Sorry, if there is any confusion. Your conference payment includes all the workshops and you will not need to choose them. You can just show up, but we will offer a few PRE-CONFERENCE hands on workshop, some with additional costs that you can register for near the end of May.

My sister, Charlotte, called the number you list for registering, and paid our entire fee for 4 of us for the weekend. The lady who took her registration at Ridgecrest said that you did not sign up for the workshops with her, but on the first day of registration. We want to be sure to be able to take a workshop, each of us. We are ready not to sign up and pay our money. Would you let us know how and where to do this?
