Prices

We are so excited to see you at this year’s Becoming.

Tickets will on sale in September 2017,  but please note that two separate reservations are needed.  We are selling the individual Becoming Conference tickets ($60) through this Eventbrite link here. All Housing and meals are purchased separately through Lake Junalaska.

** The Becoming Ticket includes all Conference Breakout Sessions, as well as our Friday evening Ladies Night In activities. Lodging and sit down meals are not included and are purchased separately through the conference center.

You will reserve your lodging (first come, first serve) and then purchase meal tickets upon lodging check-in. There is a large assortment of lodging choices (see here) with everything from camp style bunk beds (least expensive), hotel rooms and even apartments to accommodate more people.

All of our sessions will be held in Shackford Hall, so for those who want to stay close to our sessions, Sunnyside Lodge and Mountainview lodge housing share the same parking lot. The campus is beautiful and a trolly is available at all times throughout your stay, so choosing higher end accommodations elsewhere on the property will not be a problem.

For those planning their travels, conference registration begins at 2:00 on Friday the 20th and you can check into your room starting at 3:00 pm. If you are attending any optional workshops, you will be able to register as early as noon, so you are ready for your workshops.

Friday evening begins with dinner, at 5:30. Our main session begins at 6:30 pm and once that concludes, we will have one breakout session Friday night before the girls night in event. The fun runs solid through Saturday until 6:00 pm.

Please note that prices reflect one person paying for the entire room, but the more friends that share a room, the less the conference total will be. It will be at your discretion on how you want to share accommodations.

You are able to book an additional evening through the conference center if you want to come early or stay over till Sunday.

Prices vary based on the room type you request and how many are in a room (remember the more the merrier).

You may check out the different accommodations here.

Starting in September, you can register for your rooms: You have two ways to register:

-Call the reservations team at 800-222-4930 to make a reservation by phone.  The call center is open from 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Mention that you are coming to the Becoming Women’s Conference: conference code is 7699. You will be asked to place a deposit equal to the first night’s rental to hold your room.

We can’t wait to see many of you this August. We have a host of really fun things planned. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments and we will get back to you.

Follow along on the Becoming Facebook page for updates.

I was confused so I called the 800 reservation number. I was asking about the room for three people. She said the dollar amount is for all three. The variation in price is dependent on the type lodging you get. I asked for the $105 which is $35 a person. Food is an additional $33 EACH. Then of course conference registration is totally separate. Not a bad deal, but I just wanted to be sure what all is included.

Edit: I apologize, what I put below was wrong. The do have a price per person for the rooms. It’s not much different, but there is a slight difference in prices.

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, the room prices are for as many as you put in the room,so the more the merrier.:) Conference ticket does not include room and meals.

Yes, we have updated the information on the site. Registration is different this year. Conference tickets are sold separately through Becoming and then housing/meals are done through Lake Junalaska. Your room rates can be split with how ever many people share the room. Hope this helps – Jen

Do you have any suggestions for someone who would like to share a room but does not know anyone else attending? Would you pair people together who want to share or do you need to come up with your own roommates?

If you send me your email, there were two other ladies trying to find roommates. I can email you all together for an introduction. Hope you can make it, although it would be a fun one to invite some friends to for a little get away.

Thanks Jen! I can certainly room alone or try to find a friend for a getaway, but I also love the idea of coming and meeting lots of new people. If there are still a couple of ladies who need roommates and you can pass along my email, that would be great. Thank you!

Sorry about that. The info was on the registration page, but not highlighted. The conference begins with dinner at 5:00 on Friday night and ends on Saturday at 6:00. WE will have optional hands on workshops that begin at noon on Friday for additional cost. The fee includes one night.

When looking at the accommodations I noticed that there is a RV Park. Would you be able to stay at the rv park and attend the conference? If so, could your husband come and stay in the park? What would the rates be for the RV park? Thanks.

Yes, you could pay the day pass fee which includes the whole conference but only lunch on Saturday. I don’t know about the RV park but the conference center could help you with that. Hope you can come.

Why is there no discount on the additional nights this year –Bummer! They said it was the same cost as the conference which she said is $92 in the Mt Laurel- the cost being listed all inclusive made it confusing.

Unfortunately, that was out of our control and was a Ridgecrest policy. The cost we list for all inclusive is for the one night conference (and I guess shows what a great deal it is :)).

Had a question. I saw two different prices for Sat only- $58 and $62. Which is the right price? And do you register ahead of time or on Saturday when you arrive? Thanks

Hmm – I am sorry. That must have been an editing issue. I assume that it’s the $62. Yes, you need to call the registration desk (number given) and get your ticket for planning purposes. That day pass ticket is actually good for both Friday night activities and all day Sat, plus lunch. It just doesn’t include your hotel and friday night meal/sat breakfast. Hope you can make it.

    Hi Jen,
Do you know if it is possible to add an extra night’s accommodations (Sat. Night) for anyone traveling from a good distance away?
    Thank you!

Great – I see you found the answer! Yes, the room rate for additional nights is SUPER inexpensive, especially if sharing a room. :)

Is there a way we could do the Friday night dinner and breakfast on Saturday? Would like to be involved is the conference as much as possible.

hi Carmen – We didn’t include the meals because most people that lived close didn’t want that option. You would just purchase a meal ticket directly from Ridgecrest the day of the event. :)

I wanted to attend last year unfortunately it wasn’t possible. I have a question. There will be me and my 2 daughters attending. Just wanting to know what the price for the 3 of us would be. We will take a standard room. Thank you.

hi Betsy – If you look at the chart for three people sharing a room, that should clarify things. You will need to call to reserve a room and check on the standard availability.
